WATCH: Roostify product demo rocks at NEXT mortgage conference
A senior product manager’s love for delivering a better mortgage experience gets love from the audience
Roostify senior product manager Kelsey Castillo took the stage at a recent NEXT mortgage event to present Collaborator, a popular must-have lending feature that enables collaboration among community of stakeholders to help a customer complete a mortgage application. Kelsey was especially excited to share this capability at NEXT, which highlights the role of women in the industry.
“There is synergy in coming together to create a better environment for people through collaboration and community. Both NEXT and our Collaborator have that in common.” Castillo said. “Making an impact on our lenders and their customers’ lives is something us "Roosties" are proud of and continue to do, day in and day out.”
And according to one of the primary event coordinators, Castillo’s love for Roostify shown through brightly.
“NEXT attendees were genuinely intrigued with Collaborator,” said Jeri Yoshida, co-founder of NEXT Mortgage Events. “On a personal note, Kelsey is fun, charming and really easy to talk to. She knows how to bring levity to her presentations and her timing is really good.”
NEXT is a biannual technology summit, most recently held August 26-27 at The Gwen Hotel in Chicago, for senior executives in mortgage lending. It features lender-centric educational content, with sessions that cover topics such as compliance, production, sales, corporate culture, marketing and operations, among others. In addition to educational content, each NEXT event includes technology showcases and meetings where lender executives can learn about new products and services, and enjoy numerous networking events.
“What a great experience to be in a room full of strong, significant women in the mortgage industry sharing their personal stories," Castillo added. “It was also great to be able to see what other tech companies in our industry are doing and how we can all serve our lenders and their customers in a way that drives positive change.”
