Mortgage technology innovator to discuss the reshaping the industry
San Francisco, Calif. (March 3rd, 2014) - Roostify (www.roostify.com), a provider of automated real estate transaction technology, today announced that they will demo their platform at FinovateSpring2014, (www.finovate.com/spring2014), a demo-based conference for innovative startups and established companies in the fields of banking and financial technology.
Roostify has been selected to present at FinovateSpring 2014 – an international showcase of financial technology, which will take place April 29-30 at the City National Civic in San Jose California. Rajesh Bhat, CEO, and Jonathan Kirst, Lead Engineer, will demo the Roostify platform and discuss how automated mobile platforms – such as Roostify – are re-shaping the home purchasing and lending process for borrowers, agents and lenders.
Bhat, a former management consultant, co-founded Roostify after going through several home and mortgage transactions and concluding that there had to be a simpler, more predictable way to purchase a home, including applying for and closing a mortgage. Roostify’s secure interface allows borrowers to easily apply for a mortgage and all parties involved to share and track information; manage disclosures, legal documents and deadlines; and file necessary inspection reports on time – leading to a faster, smoother mortgage closing.
“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to discuss automation in the real estate and lending sectors with the forward-thinking visionaries who Finovate attracts,” Bhat said. “We’re certain the audience will come away extremely excited about what the future has in store for agents and lenders. Home buyers are more likely than ever to shop for mortgages online and fill out their applications electronically. As a result of this trend, lenders need systems that can collect and process all of the information from various sources and then seamlessly pass the information back to them. In the end, lenders and agents will benefit from increased efficiency while consumers benefit from the transparency that allows them to track progress in all stages of their purchase, from application to closing.”
“Finovate strives to ensure that our conferences deliver value through innovative ideas that attendees can’t get anywhere else,” said Eric Mattson, CEO of Finovate. “Roostify has identified a real pain point in the real estate, personal finance, and lending industries. We’re excited to showcase their innovative solution at FinovateSpring 2014!”
Roostify was founded by three technologists frustrated with their individual home buying and re-financing experiences who believed there was a more efficient, open way to complete transactions. Drawing on the expertise of real estate and mortgage banking veterans, Roostify provides a new web and mobile service that benefits agents, lenders and home buyers. Roostify is headquartered in San Francisco, California, and is backed by private investors.
